Assisting Blatchford - A global leader in their field with their hard floor restoration
Recently we were really pleased to be chosen to restore the floors of some private clinics belonging to Blatchford in Sheffield.
Blatchford is a leading multi-award winning manufacturer of some of the world’s most advanced prosthetic technology devices.
The area we worked in actually had clinics and a full manufacturing facility utilising the engineering expertise Sheffield is well known for. Blatchford are committed to providing an excellent customer experience with modern clinics and clean flooring. Due to the nature of their operations the wear on the hard floors can be demanding resulting in marks, etching and rubber stains.
They were considering replacement but approached us to see if we could offer a restoration solution which would minimise disruption to the operation and ensure customers had no inconvenience.
We carried a test sample of the flooring which was approved before carrying out a full out of hours restoration. This included a full strip, all marks removed and then a protective satin finish. A non-slip safety finish was paramount.
The results were pleasing, there was no disruption or inconvenience and the cost was a fraction of that of replacement.
A very pleasing job in terms of results but also being able to assist such an inspiring organisation.
